Festember run-down, v 2.0

As I've mentioned earlier, spending long periods of time at my college can induce displeasure. The most ugly kind. Add to this a fistful of half-brain idiots and you're nowhere near euphoria. This would, incidentally, be the worst moment to be asked to write a happy, cheerful article about a college fest. Topic of the day: Workshops, Festember '09.

I hope I have redeemed myself sufficiently.
Here's to joy.

It is common to speak unrelentingly on topics that you know little about. There is a lot of change in our professional and personal lives. Most of these involve the year-old secretary and her month-old lump. Opportunities come and go but regrets about safety and protection remain impregnated in the mind. What is familiar is now obsolete. Like the urge to hook up. Sometimes, it pays to stop and smell the roses. Usually, it gets you in trouble. Workshops, are thus held. They unite mind, body and soul in pleasurable (caution suggested) recreational activities that require nothing more than interest, whole hearted participation and some common sense when it comes down to playing it safe. They provide a chance for participants to revitalize themselves, even if it is only to be spent at the end. Participants are also urged to discover hidden talents and spots. Each year, the workshops bring alive what a large section of the populace have always wanted to do at some point in their lives. Last year, we had Salsa, which we disguised cleverly enough to convince the admin that the boys and girls wouldn't break taboo (like touching hands, or looking at each other). We also had Debilitative Writing, Potting, Crossword, word puzzles, words and other related wordy-things solving and Overall ishtyling workshops. This year wanks off nothing less and is all set to be a bang!!!11one
